“I try to make each painting a revelation, focusing on the positive. All of my

paintings are oil on canvas or linen executed in techniques I discovered that

allow me to freely explore the unknown in a unique way. The most exciting part

of any adventure is the unknown. It is my intention to make a significantly

distinctive painting, strongly visual yet open for the viewer to participate. I

believe that if the work is significantly distinctive the content is automatic.

Art in a grand sense is second only to nature in the power to inspire. All

around me there is the vast range of artistic inspiration flowing into my senses

that I channel into each painting and that painting inspires me to make another.

Through the alchemy of paint and personal technique I seek to make paintings

that move the viewer.”
